A tournament management system that allows users to view brackets, follow wrestlers, and track event results in real time. Below are instructions for fans, parents, and athletes on how to use and navigate the platform, which is available on the web and accessible via mobile devices.

Getting Started

• Create an account. To access an event, you must create a free account on the USA Bracketing website. You can either sign up from scratch or use an existing USA Wrestling Membership ID.
• Log in. Once you have created an account, log in with your credentials to view event information and access features.

Finding an Event

1. Navigate to the Events menu at the top of the screen.
2. Use the Search Events function to find a specific tournament. You can filter your search by setting parameters such as dates, location, and age level.
3. Once you find the event you want, select it to open its dedicated page.

Browsing Brackets

1. From the event page, find the Brackets option. Depending on the interface, this may be an icon in the "Follow" section or a dropdown menu option.
2. All available brackets for each division and weight class will be listed on this page.
3. To view a specific bracket, select the corresponding link.
4. You can change the bracket's display template and switch between weight classes using the dropdown menus at the top of the bracket page.

Following Wrestlers and Teams

1. From the event page, find the My Wrestlers option. Like the brackets, this may be an icon or a dropdown menu item.
2. Click Add Wrestlers or Add Teams and use the search bar to find the individual or team you want to follow.
3. Select the desired wrestler or team.
4. Choose your alert preferences. You can receive notifications for mat assignments and results via email, system alerts, or text message. Email and system alerts are free, but text alerts may require a purchase for non-members of USA Wrestling.
5. Receive notifications. You can access system alerts by clicking the notification bell icon at the top of the screen.

Navigating the Bracket During a Tournament

• View bout details. Click on a specific bout number within a bracket to view the results and scores.
• Check mat assignments. Mat assignments are often displayed within the bracket next to the wrestler's name.
• Use QR codes. At some events, QR codes are available that link directly to a specific bracket. This provides quick access for fans at the venue.
• Track live results. The brackets provide real-time updates as matches conclude, allowing you to follow the action live.
