Courses
Pre-Season Clinic
Age: PreK-5th
Date: October 28th & 29th 6:00-7:30 PM
Location: Caledonia High School Wrestling Room
Purpose: This is geared for kids with zero to 3 years of experience. Our intention is to introduce the sport, cover some basics and answer any questions for those that are interested in continuing on into the club or middle school programs.
Novice
Age: PreK-2nd
Date: Mon/Wed 6:00-7:00 PM
Location: Caledonia High School Wrestling Room
Purpose:
An introduction into the sport of wrestling. We will warm up, stretch, go through wrestling mobility drills, cover the basic positions and introduce takedowns, pinning moves and escapes.
Parents are encouraged to join their child to help with one-on-one focused instruction.
This will be a 6-week season consisting of 11 practices and low-stress exhibition matches the final night.
Starts November 3rd
25/26 Winter
Age: 6+ yrs
Date: Tue/Thur 6:00-8:00 PM
Location: Caledonia High School Wrestling Room
Purpose:
Build confidence into kids while showing them the fundamentals of wrestling. We will warm up, stretch, and drill the basic positions. Focus on a variety of takedowns, more pinning combinations, and building endurance.
This will be a 13-week season consisting of 24 practices and includes Friday GRAWL duals.
MYWAY IS NOT A PART OF THIS OPTION.

Michigan Youth Wrestling Association
Date: Sun 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Location: West Region
Purpose:
Folkstyle wrestling group with the goal of providing opportunities in wrestling following NFHS rules.
There will be a ≈18-week season of tournaments for athletes to participate in.
*Parents need to complete registration to compete.
Starts 1st week of December to the 3rd week of March
WAR Zone
Weight Adjusted Rating System
Date: Sat/Sun 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Location: Various host sites
Purpose:
Athletes are paired in appropriate matches based on age, weight, and skill. Better for developmental events where mat time is the primary goal. Participants are typically present for 2 hours.
*Parents need to sign-up for each event.
Competition dates will be listed as they become available.

Wrestling Amateur Athletic Association of Michigan
Date: Tue/Thur 6:30-8:00 PM
Location: Caledonia High School Wrestling Room
Purpose: 5-week season for developmental Wrestling
